The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency stated it can be alarmed regarding the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area every day. The company point created for intervention ordeals a high read more influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
